IWannaBeForeverTwentyOne

Finally, you get to meet the brains behind the branding of TheUrbanFlamingo!
Kathy has been by my side since day one. My love for fashion has been beautifully captured by not only her Canon lens, but her creative intuition. Her PR/Web Design and Photography skills are out of this world, and I don't know what I'd do without her.
4 stories of clothes + 15 minutes until hotel check-in = A Forever 21 outfit, from head to toe.
What She Wore:

Cold Weather Hat ~ $6.80
Rust Dress ~ $19.80
Grey Cardigan ~ $29.80
Oatmeal Tights ~ $6.80

ChiffonSilk&JerseyBeauties!

   ChiffonSilk&Jersey
Dresses are my absolute favorite clothing item. Of course that's not including shoes, blazers, or jewelry! I put together a little collection of some of my current favorites. I just love the bold prints and flowy silk and chiffon textures. Such beauties : ] Not so sure if they are in my budget though...Hey, a girl can dream right?!

CHANEL

Talk about a fashion show?
Chanel's Spring Summer 2011 show left me speechless.
I have NEVER seen a runway like this.

Marc.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 Collection

What a breathtaking show.
This collection, presentation, and song brought tears to my eyes!
I have such a close connection to this song from when I was a little girl. My dad and I use to sing it all the time, and when I saw Marc Jacobs' collection I couldn't help myself but to fall in love with it. He is such an amazingly talented designer, and I love how he went back to the basics in a modern way for this Fall collection. Marc removed brown construction paper from the back of the Armory, and all 56 models were revealed, standing in formation on the raised platform and staring back at the audience. Such a modern and fresh way to start a show.
"It's refreshing to see something that isn't trying so hard to be new," Jacobs, subversive as ever, said after the show. "There's so much striving for newness now that newness feels less new."
